Have I Arrived Where I Thought I Would Be? A feeling of finally arriving somewhere. Acrylic on paper, 60 × 60 cm.
This painting began with a pink ground, followed by blue drips that emerged. Later, soft peach drips found their way into the work, bringing warmth and balance. It grew from a question: Is this where I thought I would be? As I searched for myself through the process, the painting is personal, then quietly relieving, a feeling of finally arriving somewhere real, and realising that I am glad to be here.
