About me.
Scottish Abstract Artist
Trained at Glasgow School of Art
My work is an exploration of emotion, movement that stays with us long after we leave them. Through layers of colour, texture, and intuitive mark-making, I seek to create paintings that evoke feeling rather than describe a scene directly. I want each viewer to bring their own experiences to the work, discovering personal meanings within the abstract forms.
Drawing on her Scottish heritage, My paintings often explore themes of belonging, nostalgia, and personal journeys. Inspired by the Scottish concept of "hame" and the feeling of belonging, the artwork explores memory, identity, and emotional connections to place through vibrant pink tones, expressive mark-making, and symbolic imagery.

Hameldaeme, going home. 84/ 59. Acrylic on paper.
